The best grills to help you become a grill master

July 5, 2020 · ·

Sure you can grill well for under $1,000, but for those working with a bigger budget, we recommend the Weber Summit S-670 Gas Grill. This high-end grill takes all the best features of the under $1,000 grills and packs them into one grill. Note: Some grill prices reach up into the 10’s of thousands of dollars, but we kept our search in the $3,000 range.

So what do you get for all that extra money? For starters, you get diversity. You can grill a steak on Tuesday, cook a Rotisserie chicken on Thursday, and smoke some brisket over the weekend. The Weber Summit S-670 Gas Grill boasts solid stainless steel cooking grates and six burners for standard grilling. The rotisserie system utilizes an infrared burner, can be tucked away when not in use, and includes additional storage for the rotisserie spit and fork. The grill also features a stainless steel smoker box and burner.

While the BTUs vary between the different burner options, the heat output is ideal for the size of the 624 square inch primary cooking area (total cooking area with warming rack is 769 square inches).

Lighted control knobs, handle and fuel gauge make the Weber Summit S-670 even more impressive during nighttime grilling. The grill also features two stainless steel side tables, one of which is equipped with a side burner for cooking sauces or sides.

“Love the versatility of this grill, from rotisserie to smoking and even searing. The variety of meals you can make at the same time is incredible. The construction of the grill is great and lets you know you have a grill for a very long time even with the warranty and amazing customer service.”
